Privacy and Google data use

Scope of this notice

This notice covers the Ecom Scale Google connection for authorized store operators. Each storefront publishes its own customer privacy notice. Connecting Google is separate from a shopper’s cookie and analytics choices.

Information accessed

Depending on permissions granted, the platform accesses aggregate Analytics reports and property or stream settings; Search Console performance, sitemap and indexing information; site-verification records; and Merchant Center business, product, shipping, return and account-status information.

It stores OAuth authorization credentials and service identifiers needed to access the connected accounts. This connection does not request access to Gmail messages, personal Google Drive documents or payment-card details.

Purposes

Data is used to display requested reports, configure the operator’s connected store services, maintain product listings, verify domains and diagnose connection or reporting problems. Aggregate reports do not identify an individual shopper.

Google account data from this connection is not sold or used to create advertising profiles or train general-purpose AI models.

Storage and service providers

Authorization credentials are kept in private configuration and server secrets, separate from public pages and storefront builds. Reports may be cached temporarily. Access is limited to authorized operators and service providers needed to run and support the connection.

The platform uses Google APIs and Cloudflare hosting and storage. Google processes information under its applicable policies. OAuth credentials are not displayed to storefront visitors or included in public reports.

Retention and deletion

Authorization credentials are retained until replaced or removed. Operational configuration and verification records may remain available for administration and security. Removing the Google connection stops future authorized API requests but does not automatically delete previously retained operational records.

To request removal of stored connection information, email comua7@gmail.com. Identify the connected account or store without sending a password, access token or payment-card details.

Revoke access

You can review or remove Ecom Scale access at Google Account connections. Reconnection requires authorization again. Store-specific customer privacy choices remain available on the storefront.

Use of Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
